We went to "Ice Age Meltdown" last night with Noah.  It was his first time in the theatre.  The best was to see his huge smile and hear his giggle when he actually understood some of the humor when I thought it would be over his head.  The Sloth rocks.  My favorite part was when Manny saved his sweetie Elli from the cave.  Troy found it humorous saying that that was so typical of me.  Anyways it was a cute movie.

Back to school this week.  9 more weeks I think.  I'm looking forward to summer.

(Psalm 96:9) "Oh worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!  Tremble before Him, all the earth"

Worshiping the Lord in the beauty of holiness- The Lord is showing me how I can't truly enter in to worshipping him when their are things in my heart that are not right.  Repentance needs to take place first.  His Spirit had been bringing conviction on something and I was putting it on the back burner to deal with later.  But God wanted me to bring it to him now.  It was sweet because then I could go before him in holiness (his holiness) and with a pure heart, humbled, worshipping him for the merciful God he is.

God wants all of my heart.  It's his.

Spring Break is awesome.  I love having my kids home with me.  The kids got to hang out with their cousins and we were able to go to the tuesday morning women's study.  Good fellowship.   Today we had a change of plans.  Nikki Gaigg and her kids were going to come over but Tommy has an ear infection and Josh ended up having a fever this morning.  So if any of you could pray for them that would be good.  I think we're going to just go outside for a while now.

Does anyone else get overwhelmed when going to the library?  There are too many books to pick from.  I want to read them all.

Cool Verse (2 Thes 2:13,14) "But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ."

(Psalm 34:7) "The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him."

(Isaiah 52:12b) "For the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard."

This pretty much sums up all I could say about our Florida trip to all of you who were praying for us.  Thanks for your prayers.  We definitely needed a vacation as a family.  I would say we all came back closer and refreshed again to take on all that the Lord has set before us.

How you could be praying for me now:  For rest and contentment in the Lord. That I could trust him to do all the things he's promised to do.  That I would not waver in unbelief regarding those things.

First entry to Xanga-nothing special

Hey here's my first entry to Xanga.  Nothing to deep considering I'm cooking pork and potatoes, and have chaos in the background.  Toodles for now.
